International collaborative programs for research and development (R&D) and business growth between Taiwan and European nations are gaining popularity. These initiatives offer a unique chance for cooperation, knowledge exchange, and innovation between Taiwan and European partners. By engaging in these programs, companies can access new markets, technologies, and resources while also establishing relationships with international counterparts.

The space sector relies heavily on R&D due to the complex and advanced nature of space exploration. The advancement of space technology demands expertise in various fields, such as engineering, physics, materials science, computer science, and more. Together, ITRI and TLEOSIA provide a robust foundation for supporting R&D endeavors in Taiwan's space sector. We possess the expertise, resources, and network necessary to back the development of innovative technologies and enhance industrial competitiveness. Furthermore, ITRI and TLEOSIA actively support potential partners in matchmaking, processing, and technology development.

Regarding upcoming opportunities, we'd like to highlight the 2023/2024 Globalstars program, which Taiwan has jointly formulated with the following countries: Finland, Sweden, Austria, and the Netherlands. The objective of this specific program is to partner with foreign and Taiwanese SMEs (or R&D institutions) to develop technology, products, or processes with actual market value. This program has already generated numerous success stories in areas such as AI, electronics, and connectivity, among others. In addition to Globalstars, there are other frameworks targeting both business and R&D. Notable examples include bilateral agreements with Israel, the United Kingdom, and EU member states such as France, Poland, Germany, Spain, Czechia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

ITRI, in collaboration with TLEOSIA, serves as the gateway to Taiwan's space industry. We are ready to provide any necessary assistance to all interested entities from abroad. Please feel free to contact us for more comprehensive information.
