"Taipei Aerospace and Defense Technology Exhibition," a highly anticipated annual event, is set to return after a nearly 4-year hiatus due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. It will take place from September 14th to 16th at the Nangang Exhibition Center. This year's exhibition is divided into four main themes: "Soaring the Skies," "Exploring Space," "Strengthening Defense," and "Comprehensive Industry," featuring over 130 domestic and international participants from the defense, aerospace, and satellite industries, with an expected attendance of more than 40,000 visitors.
With the support of the National Space Organization and the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Taiwan Space Pavilion, comprising 80 booths, will showcase a wide array of cutting-edge products and technologies. This exhibition aims to demonstrate Taiwan's strengths and abundant potential in the space industry, attracting international customers, venture capitalists, and investors to foster collaboration and investment, promoting the vibrant growth of Taiwan's space industry.
Domestic and international exhibitors will also participate in product presentation and exchange activities organized by the event's host, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council. In total, 24 companies and public associations from the Taiwan Space Pavilion will introduce the latest space and satellite technologies and products to on-site guests and buyers. Industry partners interested in this opportunity are encouraged to visit and engage actively. The aerospace exhibition has also attracted several major players in the satellite and aerospace sectors, such as Aerkomm, Lockheed Martin, L3HARRIS, Raytheon Technologies from the United States, as well as Northrop Grumman, Inmarsat, and BAE Systems from the United Kingdom. Additionally, numerous startups from satellite-related fields in countries like the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and India have set up booths, making this aerospace exhibition a valuable occasion for businesses interested in entering the international market to engage in face-to-face negotiations and networking opportunities.
