According to the research firm Trend Force, the global satellite industry is expected to reach a production value of $308.3 billion in 2023, with ground equipment and satellite services accounting for up to 90 percent of the total, resulting in significant business opportunities. Furthermore, the most recent multi-orbit satellite communication services are well suited for integration with mobile vehicles such as ships, aircraft, high-speed rail, or automobiles, which is expected to drive future growth in emerging industries and markets. Taiwan's advantage lies in the already established supply chain for satellite ground equipment and services, which is expected to accelerate its entry into the international market and seize global space industry opportunities.

In response to the arrival of the global space age, the Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) hosts the "Multi-Orbit Satellite Communication Service Supply Chain Matching Conference," bringing together well-known industry experts from both domestic and foreign markets to discuss trends and opportunities in the satellite industry, as well as conduct business matching and exchanges.

The meeting invites satellite industry players such as Aerkomm Inc. of the United States and SES of Europe to present the combination of multi-orbit satellite communication and satellite aviation application services. Representatives from well-known domestic satellite supply chain companies, such as System Computer Engineering Company is also invited to share the most recent industry trends.
